Description:
These are exciting times! Every day people are shifting out of the Industrial Age of Work mindset and into the Connected Age of Play. People are playing life as a performance art, collaborative game or worthy quest. Think of performance art for example: performing artists live to share their skills and perspectives to co-create meaningful experiences. Look at Facebook, Instagram and YouTube: they are GLOBAL Performance Art platforms with BILLIONS of people participating daily.
The trouble/opportunity is that most of us learned how to coach based on an Industrial Age framework. To thrive as coaches in the Connected Age, we will need to re-imagine what it means to be a coach.
In this coaching demonstration, Dave will share with you what he has learned so far about transformational play and how to coach a player rather than a worker.
During this session, Dave will guide us through a Connected Age look at:
Creating Trust & Intimacy
Coaching Presence
Active Listening
Direct Communication
Creating Awareness
